The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has assured Nigerians of its commitment to conducting credible and transparent elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Amupitan, gave the assurance while supervising the commission's operations at its National Situation Room in Abuja during Saturday's legislative by-elections.
Professor Amupitan said the commission had identified and addressed operational challenges that emerged ahead of the elections in Gombe, Kano, Bauchi and Delta States.
