The party announced the inauguration in a statement signed by its Acting National Chairman, Samuel Ajeigbe, and National Secretary, Oshiokhue Phillip Ikpeminoghena, on Friday.
According to the AAC, the council will coordinate campaign activities across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, combining digital mobilisation with grassroots outreach to attract supporters ahead of the election.
Abdullahi Usman will serve as Director-General of the council, while Juwon Sanyaolu has been appointed secretary. The campaign structure will also include 10 national directorates covering strategy, grassroots mobilisation, communications, digital media, election operations, finance, legal compliance and administration.
The party said its campaign network would extend to state, local government, ward and polling-unit levels, supported by volunteers, canvassers and polling agents.
The AAC also highlighted the role of its SOWORENOW application in organising supporters, describing the campaign council as an expansion of its existing digital mobilisation efforts.
The party said it intended to take its message beyond major cities to rural communities and polling units nationwide. It urged Nigerians who wanted a different political direction to participate in its campaign.
The inauguration marks another step in the AAC’s preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
