APC presents INEC nomination form to Kwara gov candidate

The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, on Tuesday, officially presented the Independent National Electoral Commission nomination form to its governorship candidate, Yakubu Danladi-Salihu.

The presentation, conducted by the Kwara APC Chairman, Sunday Fagbemi, at the party’s state secretariat in Ilorin, formally confirmed him as the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 governorship election. The event was attended by party leaders, executives, stakeholders and supporters, who gathered to reaffirm the party’s readiness for the forthcoming governorship poll while emphasising unity and reconciliation within its ranks.

Speaking after receiving the nomination form, Danladi expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, the APC National Leadership, the Leader of the APC in Kwara State and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the state party executives, ward leaders and other stakeholders for their support. He said, “I thank Mr President, our national leadership, our leader in Kwara State, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, our party executives, ward leaders and every stakeholder for the confidence reposed in me.
