BREAKING: Kebbi Assembly Speaker, Muhammad Usman Zuru, Dies In Egypt

The Kebbi State Government and the State House of Assembly have been thrown into mourning following the confirmed death of the Speaker, Right Honourable Muhammad Usman Zuru. The prominent lawmaker reportedly passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at a medical facility in Egypt where he was undergoing treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

The news of his demise was confirmed by official sources within the state government, sparking a wave of tributes from across the political spectrum.
