The national chairman of the newly registered Democratic Leadership Alliance, Mr. Samuel Memeh, has identified intolerant by the Federal Government and deviation from constitution as factors behind inability ravaging many political parties in the country. Memeh, who spoke in Osogbo during the official visit to Osun State chapter of the party on Tuesday, assured that the DLA will run in line with the dictates of the constitution.

The DLA chairman, who said the vision of the party is to build a Nigeria where government works for the people, added that the party was established to offer Nigerians a credible alternative founded on competent leadership, integrity, accountability, innovation, economic productivity and people-centred governance. He said, “We believe that Nigeria’s greatest challenge is not a lack of resources but a deficit of purposeful leadership.

Our mission is therefore to develop leaders who possess the competence, character and courage to transform our nation. “You will understand that government of the day is intolerant of other political parties, but when you investigate carefully, you will see deviation from the constitution of the parties.
