A political support group in Kaduna State, the Aminiya Movement for Uba Sani and Bola Tinubu, has announced a target of 1.2 million votes for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani in the 2027 general elections. The group’s coordinator, Abdulmumini Aminu-Zaria, disclosed the target during a media engagement in Kaduna on Sunday, October 11, saying the movement would mobilise voters across the state to support the two All Progressives Congress leaders for a second term.

Aminu-Zaria said the group’s support was based on what it considers progress recorded by the Tinubu and Sani administrations in security, education, agriculture and infrastructure. He cited the reduction of tuition fees in Kaduna-owned tertiary institutions, support for students, agricultural interventions and road projects among reasons for backing Sani, while arguing that cooperation between the state and Federal Government had helped advance major infrastructure projects.

The coordinator also defended Tinubu’s economic reforms, saying difficult policies could produce longer-term benefits despite the hardship experienced by Nigerians.

He backed the continuation of the current North-South power rotation arrangement and expressed confidence that the APC could achieve the 1.2 million-vote target, although the figure represents the group’s mobilisation goal rather than an independently established projection of the 2027 election outcome.
