The Ondo State Government has announced the expiration of tenure and immediate dissolution of the boards of some parastatals and commissions, while also confirming the end of tenure of education secretaries across the 18 local government areas of the state.

The Ondo State Government has announced the expiration of tenure and consequent dissolution of the boards of some parastatals and commissions in the state, with immediate effect.

Those affected are the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board, the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board, and the Ondo State Christian Welfare Board.

Also affected by the expiration of tenure are the Education Secretaries in the 18 local government areas of the state.

According to the statement, the chairmen, commissioners, board members and education secretaries are to hand over to the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices.

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa expressed appreciation to all those affected for their service, dedication and contributions to the development of Ondo State during their tenure.
