An aspirant for the Owo/Ose House of Representatives seat, in Ondo state, Ghani Rotimi Arobo, has rejected the outcome of last Saturday’s APC primary, describing it as an attempt to subvert the will of the people. In a statement, the Director-General of the Ghani Rotimi Arobo Campaign Organisation, Hon. Ayo Ilevare, said the announced results were a “sham deliberately cooked up to subvert the sovereign will of the people.

He said the outcome contradicted the will of party members on the ground, despite efforts by the APC national secretariat to promote internal democracy. “To be clear, we had agents across all polling and voting centres.
