• In a statement, the Director-General of the Ghani Rotimi Arobo Campaign Organisation, Hon.
• Ayo Ilevare, said the announced results were a “sham deliberately cooked up to subvert the sovereign will of the people.This is not democracy but an assault on the democratic process,” Ilevare said.He said the outcome contradicted the will of party members on the ground, despite efforts by the APC national secretariat to promote internal democracy.
