It is not our standard to work without one. ” The Force Complaint Response Unit reinforced the directive in an official communication on its X handle on Wednesday, calling on members of the public to promptly report violations. The unit linked the move to its ongoing #NoToImpunity campaign aimed at promoting accountability and professionalism within the force.

“UPDATE IGP @TunjiDisu1 enforces Section 50(4) [Nigeria Police Act 2020]. ‘We all have our name tags. It’s not our standard to work without one. ’ “Citizens are advised to report any personnel in breach of this regulation. We say #notoimpunity #policeisyourfriend @CspIniedu,” the statement read.
