The Adamawa State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria confirmed the death in a statement on Saturday, expressing sadness over the loss of the council chairman.

The state ALGON chairman, Titus Obadiah, described Saidu as a committed public servant who dedicated himself to serving the people of Fufore and Adamawa State.

Obadiah extended his condolences to the deceased’s family, friends, associates and constituents, praying that they would find strength and comfort during the difficult period.
