Enugu State Gaming and Lotto Commission has sealed off outlets belonging to KC Gaming Networks Limited (operators of Bet9ja) across the State, acting on an ex parte order issued by the State High Court.

The company said the action was carried out on 9 February 2026, following an ex parte order granted on 3 February 2026 by Justice H.O. Eya in Suit No. 6/54/2025.

In response, the firm鈥檚 Managing Director and CEO, Ayo Ojuroye, rejected claims that the company is owing the Enugu State Government any statutory fees or payments.

He added that the company had maintained a consistent record of compliance since it commenced operations in the state over a decade ago.

The Bet9ja boss maintained that the firm would resist what it described as attempts to compel it to pay unmerited charges adding that the company would pursue legal redress and follow up on the matter at the High Court.
