• Gathered that the fire, which reportedly started around midnight, affected several sections of the market, with traders dealing in gold, furniture, second-hand clothes and other goods among those affected.An eyewitness, simply identified as Iya Alia, said the fire started around midnight, although she could not give the exact time.She said nearly 300 shops may have been affected by the inferno.
