• ASUU at Sule Lamido University has postponed its planned warning strike until the end of October to allow the Jigawa State Government more time to address outstanding demands.
• The Academic Staff Union of Universities at Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa, has postponed its planned warning strike until the end of October after renewed discussions with the Jigawa State Government.The union had planned to begin industrial action on September 15 over issues including implementation of the 2025 ASUU-Federal Government agreement and payment of outstanding arrears.
• Following government assurances, members agreed to allow additional time for the commitments to be implemented.ASUU said the extension would run until the end of October, after which the branch is expected to review the government’s response and decide its next course of action.
