The Kano State Security Neighbourhood Watch Corps has arrested two men over the alleged vandalism and theft of metal fencing installed around Kofar Nasarawa Bridge in Kano Municipal. The suspects were apprehended at about 4 a.m. on Tuesday during an operation by personnel of the corps.
The suspects were identified as Abba Aminu, 30, of Durmin Zungura Quarters in Kano Municipal, and Yusha’u Nasiru, 26, from Dutsinma Local Government Area of Katsina State. Deputy Commander-General of the corps, retired Major Adamu Abubakar, disclosed the arrests while the suspects were being paraded.
