• The command disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abayomi Jimoh.The case was initially reported at the Odigbo Divisional Police Station before being transferred to the Gender Based Offences Unit for discreet investigation.“Preliminary investigation revealed that on 2nd August 2026, the guardian of the victim reported at the police station that the 15-year-old girl, who was working as a domestic help in her household, had on several occasions left home without permission.
• “when the girl was questioned about where she usually went whenever she left home, she allegedly disclosed that the suspect, Solomon Onaola, had been taking her to his late mother’s residence in Omifon, where he allegedly engaged in unlawful sexual intercourse with her.
