The three-week exercise will end on Tuesday, November 24, 2026.

In a statement issued by the NYSC Osun State Secretariat on Wednesday, October 28, the scheme's Public Relations Officer, Catherine Otemuyiwa, disclosed that registration would begin on November 4 and close at midnight on Friday, November 6. The swearing-in and official opening ceremony is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on November 6, with Governor Ademola Adeleke expected to preside over the event.

The Chief Judge of Osun State, Justice Oyebola Adepele-Ojo, is expected to administer the National Pledge and NYSC Oath of Allegiance. The State Coordinator, Ekeng Ita Kubiangha, urged prospective corps members to arrive promptly, maintain discipline and comply with all camp regulations throughout the orientation programme.

According to the NYSC, the exercise will feature military drills, physical training, lectures, entrepreneurship development, cultural activities and community development sensitisation. The coordinator assured participants that arrangements had been made in collaboration with the Osun State Government, security agencies and other stakeholders to provide a safe and organised orientation experience.

Prospective corps members were advised to arrive with their required documents and personal belongings, remain security-conscious and report suspicious activities to camp officials. The NYSC also warned against travelling at night and urged participants to use recognised motor parks, while appealing to transport operators to avoid overcharging or exploiting corps members travelling to the camp.
