According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yomi Odunuga, the SGF said ongoing military operations have continued to shrink the operational capacity of terrorist groups across affected areas.
He said sustained security operations have diminished the strength of terrorist elements, noting that their attacks have become sporadic and largely ineffective. Akume added that the Federal Government remains committed to supporting the armed forces and other security agencies with the resources required to sustain the momentum against insurgency and related threats.
