In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmad Rufa’i, candidates who completed the online registration were advised to check their status on the official recruitment portal, print their invitation slips and prepare all required documents ahead of the exercise.
Applicants must report on the specific date indicated on their invitation slips and come prepared with neatly arranged documents in two white flat files. Required materials include the application submission slip, physical screening form, invitation slip, credential screening form, National Identity Number printout, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, and certificate of local government or state of origin.
Specialist applicants are also expected to bring trade test results with them. Candidates are to appear for screening in white T‑shirts, white shorts, white canvas shoes and white stockings.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmed Musa, warned that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and urged the public to report anyone demanding money in connection with the process. He also called on applicants to cooperate fully with officials to ensure a smooth and fair screening exercise.
