Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have arrested two suspects allegedly involved in an attack on vigilante personnel and the burning of their office in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. The arrests followed security operations aimed at identifying those responsible for the incident and preventing further violence in the area.

The suspects were apprehended at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, in the NEPA area of Jos North by soldiers attached to Sector 1 of Operation Enduring Peace. Military authorities confirmed that the arrests followed allegations linking the individuals to the assault on vigilante operatives and the subsequent destruction of their office by fire.

The Media Information Officer of Operation Enduring Peace, Captain Chinonso Oteh, confirmed the development in Jos on Wednesday, October 28.
